Motorcycle frame testing & certification

Many assessors or shops only perform a cursory check on the integrity of the frame when the bike is being inspected. Based near Stanthorpe, Queensland, Oz-racing Mechanical & Engineering’s frame testing and certification services give you peace of mind before you head out onto the road.

Oz-racing’s computer based electronic measuring system can accurately check the alignment of your motorcycle frame, forks, subframes, rims, etc. This type of certification must be issued by an engineer using the correct equipment.

Insurance company approved

Where required, Oz-racing Mechanical & Engineering can issue a Queensland Transport and insurance company approved certificate and report, which either:

guarantees that the geometry of the motorcycle is within manufacturer's tolerances; or

certifies that the frame, swing-arm, sub-frame, rims, forks etc are damaged.

Accident damaged motorcycles

In our opinion every accident damaged bike should be checked properly for alignment to guarantee the safety of the rider.

If your motorcycle has been in an accident and the geometry of your bike is damaged beyond repair, a certification issued by Oz-racing Mechanical & Engineering means that Queensland Transport is immediately notified and your motorcycle is written off. This eliminates the need for insurance assessors and speeds up the insurance process.

Just Purchased a K1300R took it to Ozzy for a check up he found it hadn't been serviced when the previous owner told me it had. Ozzy changed all oils thoroughly checked it out new filters etc. He would be the most trustworthy bloke and best mechanic you could take your bike too if he wasn't around i wouldn't buy BMW bikes.

Ozzy is truly passionate about BMW motorcycles and goes over and above anyone else. I recently purchased a K1200R and took it in for a service and he was very thorough and methodical while servicing the bike . Highly recommended for anyone who wants the best for their BMW.

Man, where to even start, I have been screwed over by other workshops, overcharged, sold things I haven't needed but not at all with Ozzy. He is extremely knowledgeable, more like a motorcycle Surgeon than just a mechanic, there is nothing he doesn't know or can't do. And for the level of workmanship you receive you honestly can't ask for better value for money. He has helped me out so many times over the past few years. Whether it's giving me advice over the phone, offering to check out bikes prior to me purchasing them, Ozzy goes above and beyond for his customers! He's not like other mechanics who will try and coax you into doing unnecessary modifications or repairs, he will give you an accurate assessment of what needs doing, how long until it needs doing, and the absolute cheapest and most effective way to get it done when it needs doing. Can't recommend him highly enough, my family and friends go to him now and we won't be going anywhere else anytime soon!

And his depth of knowledge means he does the extra things to not only service the bike properly but also provide preventative maintenance so you have issues in the future!! Professional service. Best in Brisbane QLD. Knowledge of bikes and parts is astounding. Wont go anywhere else after taking to him. Workshop is cleaner than a surgical office not a tool out of place. Thanks again bike rides like new.

Took my Triumph to Ozzy for a service and brake issue repair after he was recommended to me. Extremely happy with all aspects of the service. Ozzy is thoroughly professional, workshop is clinical and his depth of knowledge would be unmatched. Bike is running beautifully and I cant remember brakes ever being as good as they are now.
